Week 9, 11-27-2017
Hello guys!
This week went by
super fast so I don't know what to even talk about. It feels like I wrote one
of these things yesterday.
We had what's called
return and report this week. Return and report is when all of the new
missionaries and their trainers meet up. We had one big meeting with everyone
and after that, we split up and had two meetings, one with us new missionaries
and one with the trainers. It was really nice to see my friends from the MTC.
It's probably the last time that we're all going be able to hang out like that.
Transfers are
tomorrow. (Transfers occur every 6 weeks and it's when missionaries will switch
areas and companions.) Both Elder Nielsen and I are staying in the Wakefield
area. (Most of the time you stay with a companion for 2-3 transfers and in an
area for like 5.)
Almost our entire
district is staying the same. (A district is a group of about 4 companionships
in areas that are next to each other.) Except Elder Foland is going home. Elder
Foland is a great missionary and an even better friend. Shakespeare, his companion, Nielsen, and I
are going to miss him a lot, and even though we are sad that he is leaving we
are happy to see him move forward after his two years.
And although Elder
Neilsen and I are staying in the same area we are now going to be covering
another area as well. So this means that we will be going to 6-8 hours of
church every Sunday, we’ll have two phones, and about twice as many people
to teach. It's going to be awesome to spend more time teaching and less time
finding.
Stay safe and be
strong!

hands" -Eli
